OVER 175 PEOPLE HELPED CELEBRATE THE MANHATTAN BEACH COMMUNITY GROUP’S 75 YEARS OF SERVING THE COMMUNITY. It was a festive occasion with Senator Golden, Assemblyman Cymbrowitz, Councilman Deutsch along with the Mayor’s Office, the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, and Guest of Honor-the Comptroller of the City of New York, Scott Stringer in attendance. Many presidents and board members of local civic associations honored the MBCG with their presence as well.
The formal meeting elected and installed Officers and Board members for 2017 and Community Service Awards were presented to Nina Chin and Yehuda Lindenblatt for their outstanding commitment to the Manhattan Beach community.
Festivities continued with balloons, music, food, a special toast and friends greeting friends along with both current and former Manhattan Beach residents.
